Dempsey Productions is a Los Angeles based production company that specializes in producing award shows, concert specials, and variety and live television programs. Founder Michael Dempsey, whose career in television production spans over two decades, established Dempsey Productions in 2002. The company to date has produced several shows, including the iHeartRadio Music Festival, 2014 Young Hollywood Awards, iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball and Wango Tango, Cartoon Network’s Hall of Game of Awards, VH1 Super Bowl Blitz Concert Series, and the Emmy nominated 12-12-12: Concert for Sandy Relief. Dempsey Productions has also produced several live television shows including Kids’ Choice Awards, NHL Awards, VH1 You Oughta Know Live In Concert, CMT Music Awards, VH1 Do Something Awards, and the 2005 and 2004 MTV Video Music Awards. Dempsey Productions continues to package, develop, and produce television shows for cable and network programming.
