Michael’s career in television production spans 3 decades. In 2002, he established Dempsey Productions, where he began to package, develop, and produce full scale shows independently for cable and network programming. In addition to producing, he also directs several shows throughout the year. Some of his production and directing credits include Emmy-nominated 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, NHL Awards, The Creative Arts Emmys, and Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home. He is known for his incredible talent, personality, and bringing heart to every production he gets his hands on.

Ever since Kathryn was a young girl, she dreamed of working in TV production. That dream came true when she joined Dempsey Productions in 2007. Starting out as Michael’s assistant and graduating onto producer, Kat's hard work has paid off, as she has grown savvy in the production and entertainment business - and having some fun while at it! Dempsey Productions has given her the opportunity to be a part of many amazing shows, including Kids’ Choice Awards, iHeartRadio Music Festival, and the Emmy-nominated 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief. She enjoys working creatively with others, loves challenges, and building shows from the ground up.

Kat Rickey

Producer

Katlyn joined Dempsey Productions in 2019 as Michael Dempsey's assistant and has worked her way up to double duty as a producer. Katlyn, an Emerson College graduate, joins the team with a diverse range of experience under her belt, including a major record label, multiple years in live entertainment and events, radio, and more. She is thrilled to be a part of such a talented team and to continue diving deeper into the world of production!
